Going Home

from Old Roads by Los Cobardes

/

lyrics

Only with a whiskey
can I forget your smile.
Taking some photos
with my old camera.
Holes in my pockets,
emptiness in my heart.
I know you don’t love me,
so baby,
I’m goin’ home
I’m goin’ home, goin’ home,
Ain’t gonna suffer no more
I’m goin’ home, goin’ home,
Ain’t gonna suffer no more.
Only with a whiskey or two
can I forget your smile.
Riding a long trance,
driving along Maryland.
Holes in my pockets,
emptiness in my hands.
I know you don’t love me, so baby,
I’m goin’ home
I’m goin’ home, goin’ home,
Ain’t gonna suffer no more
I’m goin’ home, goin’ home,
Ain’t gonna suffer no more.
I know you don’t love me so baby,
I’m goin’ home.
